A WOMAN DESTINED FOR GREAT THINGS

"It did not occur to me that I might become a missioner myself some day. I was satisfied with admiring the Priests and the Sisters who enjoyed that privilege."
Délia Tétreault

Délia Tétreault (Mother Marie du Saint-Esprit) was born in Marieville, Qc. In 1902, she founded the first Canadian missionary Institute for women and worked for the foundation of the Foreign Mission Seminary established by the Bishops of Quebec in 1921.
